Yes, the dress code is Black Tie Optional. Men in suits or tuxedos and women in dresses. Note: Block or wedge heels are recommended due to grassy areas.

Due to the size of our venue, we kindly ask that you do not bring an additional guest unless they are on your invite.

Unfortunately all of the discounted hotel blocks we secured are for 2 nights only. If you are only planning to stay for one night, you can try booking a room at one of the hotels without the block discount for a single night, you can book at one of the other hotels listed on our hotel page, or there are some rentals available in the area through Airbnb or VRBO.

Yes, we will have a shuttle service picking up guests staying at the DeSoto House Hotel, and the Wyndham Garden and Country Inn hotels (these two hotels are right next to each other, the bus will go to the Wyndham but will be servicing both locations) for our ceremony. If you are not staying at any of these hotels, you may still use the shuttle service as long as you arrive at either of the pickup locations on time.

Transportation scheduled is as follows: GOING TO OAK HILL - - First pick up at 3PM from Wyndham Garden, then DeSoto House, going to Oak Hill Farm. Second pick up from Wyndham Garden at 3:15PM, then DeSoto House, going to Oak Hill Farm. LEAVING OAK HILL -- First pick up from Oak Hill Farm at 9:30PM, drop off at DeSoto House then Wyndham Garden. Final pick up from Oak Hill Farm at 10:45pm, drop off at DeSoto House then Wyndham Garden

There is plenty of parking provided at the reception for those who are driving. Please note: the road in and out of the venue can get quite narrow and has a few bends through the woods. Please be careful driving home after the reception.
